Food is NOT the Enemy…

WeightLoss_LittleBlackDress_MonicaWeaver_June2021

I know it sounds crazy to say, “Everything you know about weight loss is wrong!” but it’s not far from the truth. Labels such as low-fat, low-calorie, sugar-free, gluten-free, and keto are convincing us that foods filled with chemicals and preservatives are better for us than natural, nourishing foods that fuel and energize our bodies.

It’s the convenience foods that are keeping you feeling heavy, tired, and sick! They are void of any nutritional benefits and doesn’t satisfy you in any real way. You’re hungry again just a short time later, and to make it worse, the sugar and salt trigger a chemical reaction in your brain to crave more, so the more you eat, the more you want!

The enemy isn’t food; the real enemy is processed “non-food.”  By embracing the nutrition your body needs, you’ll defeat the real enemy for good!

The Path to Sustainable Weight Loss is Clear…

The path to breaking free from the weight for good is clear. It’s a path that will not only take you away from eating foods that are not nourishing, it will take you away from the negative emotions, limiting beliefs, and frustration and pain that has held you back! You can choose the path to healing your body and spirit, saying good-bye to foods that don’t nourish your body. But it’s hard to walk that path alone, without support to stick to your goals and the resources to make the best decisions for your health.

You may think about trying to do this alone – after all, how hard is it to change your way of eating after weight loss surgery?

But think of how busy you are, trying to juggle a family, career, and everything else life throws at you, coupled with constantly thinking about if you are eating the foods your body needs. It becomes a dangerous combination.
